Score grabbers are recurring enemies from The Floorsland series. As their name suggests, they take away the player's score.

Appearance Edit

Score grabbers are circular red enemies.

The Floorsland 3 Edit

Score grabbers are red circles with a thick black outline. Inside the circle is a crudely drawn white exclamation mark.

The Floorsland 4 Edit

Score grabbers are red circles with a solid dark red part in the bottom right. They've got an angry mouth and a disjointed Floorlar for eyes.

The Floorsland Origins Edit

Score grabbers are red circles, with a gradient instead of a solid fill. Their mouth is more pronounced and the Floorlar on their face is properly put together. They haven't changed their appearance in later games.

Attacks Edit

Score grabbers move up and down, similarly to spikes. They used to have a rectangular hitbox, which was fixed in The Floorsland Reborn.

The Floorsland 3 Edit

On contact with the player, score grabbers take away 20 score points (equivalent to Floorlar2) and disappear.

The Floorsland 4 Edit

On contact with the player, score grabbers take away 3 Floorlars and 300 score points. They also deal 2 damage and disappear.

The Floorsland Origins Edit

On contact with the player, score grabbers take away between 5 and 10 Floorlars and deal 1 damage. Unlike previous games, they don't disappear and they don't touch the player's score. Score grabbers haven't changed their attack pattern since.

Trivia Edit

Minus3bug

The player with a score of -3 on level 4 from The Floorsland 4.

  • In modern games, the name score grabber is a misnomer, because unlike score thieves, they don't actually touch the player's score.
  • In all games prior to The Floorsland Origins, a score grabber can leave the player with a negative score.
